Established in 2012. Pressure Vessel Steels (UK) Ltd is run by Carlos De Oliveira and is supported by parent company Masteel UK Limited. PVS was founded by Simon Ollerenshaw & Michael Connell both of whom are currently Owners and Directors of Masteel UK Limited. In the short amount of time that we have been operational PVS is now a successful and credited supplier of primarily Pressure Vessel grade material to the South African market.
Our stock portfolio of Pressure Vessel and Chrome Molybdenum grades covers for the majority of our work. Our material is supplied to an array of companies in the domestic market including engineering companies, vessel fabricators and various other companies involved in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industries.
We are constantly looking to increase our stock range and have recently announced (May 2014) a joint venture with Shockwave Metal Technologies. This will enable us to supply explosion bonded clad material. The key to determining what products are suitable for the South African market comes through thorough research and a qualitative understanding of the South African market, we are continuously assessing the demand for steel in South Africa and will align our portfolio accordingly.
We aim to deliver quality to our customers. Providing high quality is paramount for PVS in terms of material and customer service. Through our ownership and supply arrangements with the highest class steel mills in Western Europe and Asia we are able to source material where our competitors would face difficulty.
The backing of a larger, established company like Masteel UK Limited ensures that we have a large support network to offer our customers. We will continue to develop our services to customers by constantly reviewing our sales service, after sales service & logistics to ensure that the quality of service being provided is our best.
